Plans and publications
Designed in the mid-1980s by architect Enric Graells, the building was conceived with careful consideration of its setting and surroundings. It is anchored to the site both physically and aesthetically. Physically, this is achieved through inclined pillars and walls that emerge from the ground, forming a second skin. Aesthetically, the shadows cast by these elements filter and modulate the incoming light. This effect is present both inside and outside the building.
